Sick!
Today has been interesting. We started it at the ER with Aubree suspecting a concussion, but now we are sick! I will save the ER trip for when I can see straight! Our entire house (minus Brandon for now) has the stomach bug. It's pretty bad when you have to share a puke bucket with your six year old is all I have to say. Never in my life have we all felt so bad at one time. I just wanted to document it on the blog so in years to come I can look back on January 31st, 2011.

Santa
Even though I'm a little behind on blogging, Santa did indeed stop in Lake Wylie. He was pretty good to all of us.
Aubree was up first at about 7:15, then we waited for the boys to get up. Anderson was up next and we had to wake Grayson up around 7:45. Grayson wasn't in any mood to see the loot, so he had to have a moment at the top of the stairs to "wake up!" Aubree and Anderson were very eager to see what the big man had left. After Grayson got over his unhappiness, he decided to join the rest of us. Love, Love, Love this picture! I just love the excitement in his face. You can see Grayson trying to wake up as well!
Anderson was so excited. He started ripping into his stuff before I could turn around good.

This is pretty much how I found him two minutes later after he had opened everything, therefore I didn't get many shots of his gifts.

Interruption!
We interrupt the regularly scheduled post for breaking news of firsts! We now have a snaggle-tooth living with us! Finally after about a month and a half of a wiggly wobbly tooth, it came out while Anderson was eating dinner tonight. It got really loose after church today while we were in the mall. Brandon got some of the candy bones out of the gumball machine for the kids and after Anderson bit down on one it really got loose and a little bloody. It gave Brandon and I both the willies watching him push it back and forth and seeing the blood... We have a long way to go with three kids losing lots of teeth. Anderson continued to play with it all afternoon and while eating it came out. We all got so excited until Anderson saw the blood and got a little upset himself. It's already in his "Tooth Fairy" pillow waiting on her to come and visit tonight. Word on the street is the tooth fairy brings $5 for the first tooth! He looks so cute as a snaggle tooth.
I gave the boys long overdue haircuts today since it was a decent January day. Aubree kept saying "My turn next" so we decided we could cut the very ends off to make her think she was getting one. We wrote it down in her baby book as her first "haircut" but you can't even tell I cut anything since her curls just spring up when they dry and I cut the tiniest bit off.

Christmas Eve
Christmas was wonderful again this year! It gets more fun each year with our little ones. We spent Christmas Eve in Spartanburg like we always do, with my parents and my Maw Maw. On Christmas Eve afternoon, we always open gifts with Mattie and Pappy and Uncle David, Aunt Rebekah and Keslynne. We tried to get all of the grands together to get a decent picture and this is what we came up with.
Aubree was really excited about gifts this year, but still overwhelmed. She was especially excited about all of the chocolate in her stocking from M & P.
Beautiful Kessie
Grayson liked his candy too!
Aubree got some help from Keslynne
Can you tell she's saying "Open"
