Princess Aubree

This week Aubree will be a Princess in her band. I have to change the stickers about every week or so and I found these cute ones at a scrapbooking store. I think it turned out really beautiful! The bottom two pictures are from last Sunday when she wore the most beautiful smocked dress to church that my brother and sister in law gave her before she was born! She looked like a real life baby doll!

Check out her newest trick! She's trying to stand up from the floor!!! She can barely sit yet and she wants to stand! Wonder who she wants to chase around???

Speech!

Finally, after three long months of trying to get Grayson into speech he will be starting Monday! He has made so much progress over those last three months with me working with him and his tounge healing. He is moving his tongue a lot more now. ... and in the last few days has been repeating everything that we say. He articulation isn't the best and he leaves the first letter off of most his words, but he's really trying! Here is my favorite recent picture of my sweet boy!

6 month stats and Band Appt.

At 6 months Aubree is...
16 lbs. 12 oz (50th %)
27 1/4 inches (95th %)
She is long and lean!!! Just like daddy.... Brandon's baby girl!!
We went for her band checkup today and in three weeks she has made 2 mm of positive growth, which means only 6 more mm to go! He made some adjustments, so maybe it won't rotate as much as it has been when she sleeps in it and make it more comfortable.

6 Months Old

It's so hard to belive that our sweet little Aubree has been in our family for half a year now! She is the best baby ever and I still pinch myself daily that I am lucky enough to have her for a daughter! Here are a few pictures from the last few days. I will have her stats and such on Tuesday after her appointment!

She has just enough hair for the bow to stay in for a few minutes, then she swats it out... Grayson has to try to put one on her head everynight after bath. He says, "Bo" "Bo"... too cute.

Thanks for the Prayers!

My dad's procedure went as planned this morning and they found that he has a 95 % blockage in an artery that was 50% blocked when he had his heart attack 1 1/2 years ago. The doctor was able to put in another stent and he should be feeling better soon. As my dad said to me a little while ago, he's full of metal now! Thanks to everyone for your kind comments and prayers. They worked!!!! Happy Friday to all!

Sleepy Painter for Hire!!!

A no-napping 2 year old that is! Currently at this very moment he is asleep (he sat still on the couch for two minutes and fell asleep), but on most days he REFUSES to nap!!!!!!!!!!! REFUSES... kicking and screaming!!!!!! That's another blog post in itself. Anyway, we had fun yesterday, dressing up as a Home Depot painter and I just had to share the pictures... pants or not.. he's still cute!

Asking for Prayers...

for my daddy! He will be having a heart Cath on Friday morning at 7 am and I am just asking for anyone who is the praying type to please pray for him. He survived a major heart attack in August of 2007 at my house while building a playset for the boys. It was a miracle that he survivied! God is so God! He had a cath after the heart attack and he was given one stint in the blockage that caused the attack.
He has been having some episodes lately with chest pains and will undergo another cath on Friday to check for more blockages. I am just praying that another stint will do the trick and get him back to feeling better!!!!!!!! I'm such a daddy's girl and all I want is for my daddy to feel well and be healthy!
