Update on John
Gretchen called a few mornings ago and let us know that they didn't get good news at the doctor and John will be starting treatment at Duke in the next week or so! Please continue to keep him and his family in your prayers. As expected, everyone is having a very difficult time with this news. Gretchen couldn't tell me too many details since she was so distraught. Just pray!!! Thanks!

Yea, Derek talked with John last night. Sounds like he will have PET scan tommorow in Columbia and then is planning to go to Duke on Friday for a meeting with the doctor. Hopefully he will come up with a great plan to work for all of this. People beat this stuff all the time so we just have to keep hoping and praying. They will all be in our thoughts and prayers!
