Just a Few Random Pictures...Mostly Aubree's Birthday

Well, I thought before another birthday party happened up on me this weekend I better get some pictures on here from Aubree's party and big day. Blogging has been put on the back burner lately with everything that goes on in our house. I'm pretty overwhelmed.... two kids in school, four trips to and from school for drop offs, a big kid (Brandon) in Business School two nights a week and one Saturday a month, two kids in soccer, one house to clean, five people's laundry and dishes to do, teeth to brush, diapers to change (come on Aubree...), mouths to feed and water... I could go on.... And I just completed a pretty big feat of selling things in a consignment sale. I sold almost all of the 251 pieces I put in the Upscale Weesale and was pretty happy about that. Consignment sales are a lot of work, but if you do well it's worth it... So, now that it's over maybe I can catch up a little with blogging..
Pictures from Aubree's Birthday. We went to Carowinds after Brandon got off of work.

I've been sewing too except I broke my machine so I'm on hold with it right now! Here's one outfit that I have made for her for the fall. Cute owl shirt with ruffle pants.
We took Anderson to Clemson for the first game: Here's a few shots of my cutie pie!

And alas... our playset is up in our new backyard. It's been hibernating in my Grandma's garage for a year.

SIX

My baby turns SIX today! Pinch me, I really have a six year old! We are so proud to call him our son! He makes us beam with pride. We love everything about him from his wild and crazy bed head to his video gaming fingers to his soccer kicking feet to his baseball hitting swings and his warm and fuzzy hugs! We love every single bit of him! We love his laugh and his sweet squinty eyed smile and even his debating nature! I especially love when he lets me hold him and carry him to the potty and downstairs every morning before school. He hugs and holds me so tight, because he's just not quite ready to be awake yet. I cherish these sweet things about you my sweet Anderson, because you are growing so fast and one day you might not let me carry you downstairs! I'm glad that you are growing up to be a big boy, but sometimes mommy just needs it to slow down! Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!

Grayson's Off to Preschool

This morning I sent my super sweet, yet sometimes challenging second born off to preschool. He was so excited that he came to greet me at 4:30 am and didn't go back to sleep. This on any other morning may have not bothered me too too much, but since I had just fallen back asleep at 4 am after being awake since midnight, I wasn't the happiest of mommies! I'm fighting a stubborn cold and had taken an antihistamine which I forgotten keeps me up at night. I won't do that again. So Grayson got into bed with us at 4:30 and tossed an turned until 6:15 when I got up. He was so excited to go to school though. He wore his bookbag and carried his lunch box from 7:30 when we got back from taking Anderson to school until 8:45 when it was time to leave. He kissed and hugged me and reminded me that he only loved Daddy (he can't love two at a time he says, and for the past 3 months it's daddy) and went right in and started playing. I peeked at him through the window and he was fine! Aubree and I have been having a fun day. We took a stroll through Target and then came home to get some stuff done. We just had a leftover pizza date and decided to watch a cartoon before it was time to pick up Grayson. I'm looking forward to our girl time this year, but of course we will miss the boys.
